Um, Dad...

Is it supposed to be rainin' on the dining room table?

Mom was takin' a shower this morning and there was a wall of water pourin' through the ceiling. Dad came downstairs and I (Smeagol) asked him why it was rainin' inside. (Strider likes to hang out in the bathroom while the beans get their showers, don't ask me why). So... they spent all day runnin' to hardware stores and bangin' around in the walls, and they think they have it fixed now. I hopes so, it made me tired just watchin' them! And the ceiling actually seems to be fine, which is good too.

Thanks for all the well wishes for Mom, she's feelin' a little better today (it's a good thing too, with the stupid leak thing needin' to be fixed)!

That sounds nasty. Rain should only be allowed OUTside. Glad they got it fixed and your Mom's better.

Glad your Mom is feeling better. I like to hang out in the bathroom when a human is taking a shower too. It's my job to lick the water drips off their ankles and lets. Helps them dry faster.

That sounds furry bad that the ceiling was raining. I hopes they did get it all fixed, otherwise things won't be good.

Good thing you told your dad as quick as you did or think of the mess they would have had. Glad your mom is feeling a little better! -- Alberta, Sky, Blackie and Charlie

Ohh, that is not good. My mum once had a flood when she used to live by herself. The people upstairs went out and their washing machine leaked down to her kitchen. But she was only renting so it turned out OK because her landlord redecorated and gave her new carpets and efurrything. I don't think she would be happy if the same thing happened in our house now!

We had plumbing issues back in August. Plumber guys with dirty boots and heavy toolbelts (butt cleavage, anyone??) were tromping all around. It was very expensive to Mom ... We hope that yours wasn't.

Oh, isn't that SCARY?? Last spring Denden went out in the backyard to water with the hose for the first time this spring and something had happened to the faucet and half the water went out in the hose while half went into the ceiling of the basement where it fell like it was raining. Very cool special effect but the 'beans weren't happy at all when I pointed it out to them...
