Gigi & Ginny, a Visit and Secret Paws

There's been lots goin' on around here lately and Mom and Dad have been furry busy too! We've been tryin' to get around to read efurryone's blogs but haven't been able to comment much lately. Hopefully things will slow down and be back to normal in a couple of weeks!

We're gettin' acquainted with Gigi and Ginny. (We have pictures but won't be able to post them for a little while, plus Smeagol's kinda embarrassed 'cause he was kissin' them!) We were thinkin' about doin' the kitty hazing thing like Zeus suggested, but then Mom reminded us that they are girls and that we should be on our best behavior. We are furry happy to have them here, but the kitty hazing did sound like fun... We've been pretty busy with showin' them all the fun places to hide and good spots to look out the windows. We took them around to meet Mystery and Gizmo, and one day our good furriend Beau came to visit. They already knew him 'cause they had been stayin' at his house for awhile before comin' to live with us! Oh, and the day Beau was here was sooo much fun 'cause we all snuck down to the basement (where we're normally not allowed to go) and we made lotsa noise runnin' and jumpin' all over the place. (Mystery and Gizmo made us do it, really!)

Last but most definitely not least, we got our Secret Paws package!! Thank you sooo much, Indigo (and your mommy, too)! We loooves efurrything! There are lotsa purple things ('cause purple is our favoritest color) like mousies and and a feathery thing that we fly through the air after, and balls and jingly things to chase and yummy treats! We were a little camera shy while Dad was takin' pictures, plus we like to tease him. We'd start to play with somethin', then as soon as he tried to take a picture, we'd stop. He got tired of that game, so we're not sure how the pictures are gonna turn out, but we'll post them as soon as we can (it might be a little while 'cause of all the busy-ness 'round here). We're gonna go post on the SP site now that we got our package, then we gotta get back to playin' with all the fun stuff!

They're here!!

Gigi and Ginny are here! We are all way excited and have been showin' them around. They're kinda tired from travellin', so we've been lettin' them rest some, too. They asked us to thank Beau and his mom for makin' sure they'd be safe and comfortable on their way here! We'll post some pictures soon, once they get used to all the new surroundings!

Smeagol's Weird Things/Habits:

1) I like to drink out of a bottle (like the kind that hang in cages)
2) I don't like turkey
3) I like spinach (but I'm not supposed to eat it)
4) I get freaked out by the remote when it's upside down (it looks like it has two beady eyes)
5) I "talk" like the cat at the end of this video

Strider's Weird Things/Habits

1) I have to check the shower before Mom or Dad get in in (but after they turn the water on)
2)While they're in the shower, I walk back and forth between the curtains and reach in and grab them
3) I like Stinky Goodness, but I like crunchies better
4) Loud noises don't bother me at all, but I don't like it when people come to our house
5) I let the v-e-t clean my teeth while I was wide awake

Happy Purrthday Beandad!!

We're a little late, but Mom was busy makin' a cake and couldn't help us blog sooner. We wants to say thank you for makin' such a good home for us, feedin' & playin' with us, cleanin' our box and just makin' sure we're happy healthy cats! We promise to be good (for today, anyway)!

There's lotsa other news goin' on, we're sure we'll forget somethin'! Let's see... Mom has visited the kitties who used to live next door a few times now, and they are doin' really well (yes, she is attached to them). She's sad efurry time she has to leave them, but they're in a good place and we know they're gonna find their furrever home (together!) soon! They get lots of attention there, which was somethin' they weren't gettin' when they lived with the bad neighbors. What else? Oh, Gizmo let Mom pet her for the first time the other day, a little on her head, but more on her back! And this next thing we are furry excited 'bout! Two of the 'ramic kitties are comin' to live with us! Gigi and Ginny are at Beau's house right now, but they're gonna make the trip here soon. We'll keep efurryone updated so that the litter of squillions can keep in touch.
